Breadth is running thin into the close. Only 37% of the 10,281 stocks in our scan are flashing bullish setups—3,852 against 1,898 bearish—and the average SCTR of 4.8 tells you most names are pinned at the bottom of their technical range. SPY is the exception: SCTR 7, a Confirmed Bull trend, and six bull signals stacked on the index itself. That divergence is the whole story. The index holds while the tape underneath bleeds.
