Breadth collapsed into the close. With 22% of the 1,422 stocks in our universe flashing bullish setups—317 bull versus 426 bear—sellers control the tape. The average SCTR of 5.3 is about as washed-out as it gets, and SPY's SCTR of 0 with zero bull counts confirms the index is pinned at the bottom of its technical range. Leadership is thin and speculative: BWET, ABTC, AMDG, AIRS, and BDSX are the only names generating bull signals, and that list reads like a risk-on island in a risk-off sea. Meanwhile, BYND, AMDD, and AIXI are stretched to the downside—extended, but not yet exhausted enough to trust a bounce. Into the final stretch, the path of least resistance stays lower.
